Fear of Death singer-songwriter Tim Heidecker has released a new song entitled “Dark Days,” which finds him exploring the experience of being in lockdown through candid lyrics and steady strums.

Along with the new single, Heidecker also announced that he will be performing with “His Very Good Band” in New York City at Bowery Ballroom on April 14, 2022. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.

“I wrote this in the darkest days of the pandemic when things really felt unhinged, and it’s filled with little Easter eggs of the moment… baking bread and all that stuff. At the last minute I changed the last line to be a question rather than a statement because I didn’t want it to be a total bummer. I hope it doesn’t ruin anyone’s day! Also I don’t think there’s a way to sing ‘this world’s on fire’ and NOT sound like Bruce Springsteen,” Heidecker explained of the new song.

Fans of Heidecker’s comedy are also in luck as Season 12 of On Cinema at the Cinema – his movie review show which he hosts along with frequent guest and movie buff Gregg Turkington – is currently airing new episodes weekly on Hei Network.
